SUMMARY:Regression models for biographical data (In French)
DESCRIPTION:Training offered as part of the ‘Modèles de risque et durée’ course at Université de Montréal students wishing to obtain the credits associated with DMO 6405\, please register on the usual platform. \n(Although this is a continuation of the Introduction to Risk Models and Duration course\, it is possible to attend this second module without having attended the introduction). \nFace-to-face training. The Regression Models for Biographical Data sessions combine lectures and supervised computer exercises using STATA software. Examples of the use of risk and duration models are mainly based on contemporary retrospective survey data. \nOn the program: \n\nSemiparametric analysis of biographical data: Cox model.\nParametric analysis of biographical data: proportional hazards and accelerated output models.\nDiscrete-time risk and duration models.\n\nPrerequisites: Basic knowledge of STATA and an introductory statistics course(optional\, but recommended): Introduction to risk and duration models). \n*** For those who would like to register and have no prior knowledge of STATA\, QICSS offers two training courses: \n\nIntroduction to STATA (April 22 and 23)\nAdvanced STATA programming applied to the analysis of massive\, longitudinal administrative databases (May 4)

SUMMARY:Selection effects
DESCRIPTION:Training offered as part of the ‘Modèles de risque et durée’ course at Université de Montréal students wishing to obtain the credits associated with DMO 6405\, please register on the usual platform. \n(Although this course follows Introduction to Introduction to Risk and Duration Models and Regression models for Biographical Data it is possible to attend this training without having taken the previous two courses.) \nFace-to-face training. Selection effects are used to understand\, detect and correct the biases that arise when the individuals observed or compared are not equivalent at the outset\, due to a non-random selection mechanism. \nPrerequisites: Basic knowledge of STATA and an introductory statistics course. (Optional\, but recommended: Introduction to Risk and Duration Models and Regression Models for Biographical Data.) \n*** For those who would like to register and have no prior knowledge of STATA\, CIQSS offers two training courses: \n\nIntroduction to STATA (April 22 and 23)\nAdvanced Stata programming applied to the analysis of massive and longitudinal administrative datasets

SUMMARY:Sequence analysis (In French)
DESCRIPTION:Training offered as part of the ‘Modèles de risque et durée’ course at Université de Montréal students wishing to obtain the credits associated with DMO 6405\, please register on the usual platform. \n(Although this course follows Introduction to Introduction to Risk and Duration Models and Regression models for Biographical Data it is possible to attend this training without having taken the previous two courses.) \nFace-to-face training. Sequence analysis makes it possible to study complete trajectories rather than isolated events.

SUMMARY:Competitive events and risks. Repeated events. (In French)
DESCRIPTION:Training offered as part of the ‘Modèles de risque et durée’ course at Université de Montréal students wishing to obtain the credits associated with DMO 6405\, please register on the usual platform. \n(Although it is a sequel to Introduction to risk and duration models and Regression models for biographical datait is possible to attend this course without having attended the previous two). \nFace-to-face training. Learning how to model competing events and risks\, as well as repeated events\, helps us to understand and explain the real complexity of life courses. \nPrerequisites: Basic knowledge of STATA and an introductory statistics course(optional\, but recommended): Introduction to risk and duration models and Regression models for biographical data). \n*** For those who would like to register and have no prior knowledge of STATA\, CIQSS offers two training courses: \n\nIntroduction to STATA (April 22 and 23)\nAdvanced STATA programming applied to the analysis of massive\, longitudinal administrative databases (May 4)
