The Academic Director plays a key role in promoting health and social science research, facilitating access to data and supporting innovative research projects. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead, in collaboration with the Governance Board and Executive Management, the development, implementation and evaluation of the QICSS&#8217;s strategic orientations;<\/li>\n<li>Establish and maintain partnerships with the research community, government agencies, statistical agencies and funding bodies;<\/li>\n<li>Identify new collaboration and partnership opportunities to strengthen QICSS&#8217;s reach and impact;<\/li>\n<li>Lead the development of grant applications and oversee evaluations by granting
