Covid-19: Summary of excess mortality in Quebec and British Columbia

In this webinar, Yann Décarie will present the results of a study comparing British Columbia’s mortality experience with that of Quebec during the first wave of COVID-19.
The study shows that the differences between the two provinces stem mainly from excess mortality in institutions for the elderly, such as long-term care centers and retirement homes.
