This presentation will focus on a new microdata database, BEAM, which has been made available to RDCs.
BEAM (Business-Employee Analytical Microdata Files) is an employer-employee matched database created from Statcan administrative data.
This presentation will cover the history, creation and matching of BEAM, as well as its structure and variables.
Information on its potential research use and access will also be shared.
