Still in progress, the Longitudinal Study of Child Development in Quebec, 1st Edition (ELDEQ 1), begun in 1998 and conducted by the Institut de la statistique du Québec, has as its main objective to understand the life trajectories and determine the factors that contribute to the social adaptation, academic success and well-being of young people born in Quebec.
