Behavioral problems in childhood are associated with a wide range of negative life consequences, but little is known about their association with partnership patterns in adulthood.
Drawing on a population sample of nearly 3,000 children, this study examined the association between teacher-rated behavior ratings at age 10-12 and partnership patterns between ages 18 and 35, based on tax returns.
