This workshop will be held in person at CIQSS and will introduce participants to the effective use of STATA.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to manage data files, manipulate and transform variables, and analyze them.
Emphasis will be placed on the use of the main commands, but the graphical interface will also be used.
Internal and external STATA resources will also be used to facilitate learning. Prerequisites: Participants should ideally be familiar with at least one statistical analysis program (SPSS, NCSS, Excel) and have a good understanding of elementary quantitative methods.
